frustrationThis crazy dance,
on this thin ice floor,
this two steps forward, one step back,
and this mangle of mixed signals
this is frustration
make up your mind
a simple yes or no
but you
you must be handled with care
i cant push
because youll pull back
and i cant pull you close
becasue youll push me away
yet still you beckon me,
staying just out of reach
this frustration
this torture
when all i want to do
is show you how it could be
how it coudl be if you just give in to me
let the fire burn
let it consume us both
adn let me show what passion really
but yet i am left wiht this
this frustration
this curse
why do you play with

Cruel Truth

Have you ever just looked into my eyes,
And seen the pain starring back at you?
Have you ever just listend to my voice,
And heard the unshed tears?

The truth is a cruel thing
but its never as cruel as your lies
my heart is in your hands boy
and my soul is in your teeth
yet you never take the time
see me as i am

if you dont want me tell me so
if you dont need me just let me know
dont pretend
dont give me lies
though the truth is cruel
what you put me through is torture

one night of company
followed by a week without a word
what is it that you want,
waht is it that you need
tell me if im not enough
dont deafen me with this

ConfessionI must confess,
this deep dark secrete of mine
somthing you would never have expected
somthing you would never have even suspected
it's the only thing in the world you don't know
you just cant know
but you more then anything need to know
i swore it wouldn't come to this
i promised i would never feel like this
after all we've been through
and all we want to do
its only the fair thing to do
its only the right thing to say
this confession of mine
standign between us
a ghostly shadow of doubt in my eyes
that holds a spark of hope in its heart
its the hidden truth
its the frightening reality
i've tried to distroy the fact
ive t

It wasn't spose to be this wayI never get attatached
never allow my self to get that close
it never realyl matterd anyway
it was suppose to be short
and ti was suppose to be sweet
and it sure wasnt suppose to be this way

but now i found my self
falling into your little web
and i sit and stare at the clock
begging you to be home soon
it wasn't ever suppose to be this way

keep it light
keep it simple
its waht i always told myself
but even now i cant help but smile
and i can't helo but long for your arms
it wan't suppose ot be this way

i wanteed somting safe
somthing i couldn't get hurt from
but now im in so deep
it wasn't suppose to be this way

Why I Write

I write
Because it defines my existence,
I write
Because I have lived this
Its what I am
Its what makes me, me

Its why I live
What fuels my passion
Directs my life
Keeps me from crashing

Its my outlet for love
My salvation from pain
The only cover I run for
When it begins to rain

I write everything I know
With this pencil and pad
From my present, and past

No one knows what the future will hold
But with this poetry I will behold
Everything that may unfold
Because its why I write.

Here comes the Rain

The sun shined all day
But now the clouds are movin in
It reminds me of how our love is coming to an end
Each kiss we shared
Like the sweet, pleasent smell of the flowers
The light growin dark
Just like the light you showed my heart
The sun being blocked by the dark gray clouds
Our love being blocked by those who wont allow our love
To shine through the clouds of life
But now here comes the rain
Reminding me of the pain
Of losing the one I love so dear
Of losing a peice of me
To which i had grown so near
But mostly of lockin my heart
In the dark with no light to shine in
Just like the clouds will part
And the sun will onc

it reminds me of some of my own dark/sad moments.
